A game for the flight: works without internet
Lights Out is great for a long flight, a road trip, or anywhere with no signal. Get ready once, before you leave:
- While you have internet, open the site.
- Tap "Get ready for a flight" and wait for the "Ready for the flight!" message.
- On iPhone: add the site to your home screen so the games are not cleared.
- On the plane, in airplane mode, open Lights Out and play: no network, no ads.
Can I play Lights Out without internet?
Yes. While you are online, open the site and tap "Get ready for a flight". All the games are saved on your device, and from then on Lights Out works in airplane mode, with no network, no ads and no sign-up.
How to play
Tap a light: it flips — and so do its four neighbors (up, down, left and right). Turn off all the lights.
Why it is good for kids
Lights Out is a logic puzzle for ages 6–12 that trains Logical thinking, Planning ahead, Pattern recognition. It has 7 difficulty levels, so a child can start easy and move up at their own pace.
It is free, with no ads popping up mid-game, no sign-up and no chat. It also works without internet: before a flight or a trip, tap "Get ready for a flight" on the site and the games are saved on the device.
It can be played with the keyboard alone and with a screen reader.
